Ice Cream *Any and multiple flavors
Cake *Any Flavor
2 Egg Whites
A tablespoon of Lemon Juice
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
Ice Cream, Bowl Shaped Container, and Saran Wrap
Work with any shaped container and line with saran wrap.
Scoop in ice cream to create a series of layers on the bottom and sides within the bowl.
*You can create layers of different flavors for a better presentation.
Cake, Round Cutter
Cut a slice off the top or bottom of the cake about 1" thick.
Use a round cutter to create a top for your ice cream mold.
Place the cake on top of the container with ice cream and press down to make it compact.
Fold the excess saran wrap over the opening of the bowl and place in the freezer until solid (Overnight or longer).
Egg Whites, Lemon Juice, Bowl
Add 2 Egg Whites and half a tablespoon of lemon juice.
Beat the mixture until it all mixes.
Sugar, Water, Sauce Pan
In a seperate sauce pan add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.
Put on stovve to medium to high heat. Cook the mixture at 240ºF.
Add the syrup to the bowl made in step 3.
Beat this mixture until the meringue feels stiff.
Place the ice cream on a plate, cake down.
Pipe the meringue over the ice cream.
Use a lighter to brown the meringue all over.
Cut the cake in half and serve.
